Key to Triumphant Living by Jack Taylor (Nine Days of Christmas)

By: Delana S

One of my all time favorites in terms of improving my walk with the Lord, is Jack Taylor’s book The Key to Triumphant Living. If you are going through a time of feeling fruitless, defeated, and frustrated instead of victorious, holy and empowered by the Spirit, you may want to put this on your wish list.

Some of my favorite quotes from this book are:

“Jesus is alive in me today to be all that I need to be and all that the Father requires me to be.”

“Lord…this is your body. You possess it and fill it and run around in it today in full control minding your own business through it.”

“Do you want to do the will of God? Then give thanks!”

“The will of God is now. Deal with tomorrow when it becomes now.”–an Asbury Seminary student

“Our sin is not in feeling inadequate but in expecting ourselves to be adequate.”

“I should feel inadequate if I am indequate…and I am!”

Jack Taylor also reminds us that God gives us the spirit of power, love, and a sound mind…and that all other kinds of spirits (e.g. depression) come from Satan.
