She placed a veil upon her face
Not to hide the glory there
But to enter an ancient place
To Share the Love of Jesus.
She served others with faces veiled,
Sewing, teaching, giving care
While always on her lips were hailed
The wonderful name of Jesus.
One day she was taken from home,
Though God was not unaware,
Her whereabouts were yet unknown,
Friends called on the name of Jesus.
They looked and waited; she didn’t come,
Yet Love spread on veiled and unveiled faces
That wept and sought to carry on
Her joy for sharing Jesus.
