Today God inspired me to write a song through Psalm 91, Matthew 23:37, a half dozen other Bible verses about wings, and my circumstances…
My God is like an eagle, when I’m battered by the waves.
My God’s like a snowy dove, when I’m scared and afraid.
My God is like a mama hen, when I’ve lost my way…
My God, He covers me…My God, He covers me.
My God is like a lighthouse, when darkness fills the sky.
My God commands the angels to lift me up on high.
My God, He rescues me…My God, He rescues me.
My God, you comfort me.
My God, you rescue me.
My God, you love me.

1He who dwells in the (A)shelter of the Most High
Will abide in the (B)shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say to the LORD, “My (C)refuge and my (D)fortress,
My God, in whom I (E)trust!”
3For it is He who delivers you from the (F)snare of the trapper
And from the deadly (G)pestilence.
4He will (H)cover you with His pinions,
And (I)under His wings you may seek refuge;
His (J)faithfulness is a (K)shield and bulwark.
5You (L)will not be afraid of the (M)terror by night,
Or of the (N)arrow that flies by day;
