Hear the Music

special needs, challenges, handicaps, life, joy

Finding joy in almost every moment,

Making “snow angels” in the grass,

Playing puppy or chase or peek-a-boo,

Laughing at oneself when falling down,

Popping bubbles and giggling for hours,

Receiving a balloon and acting like the winner of Miss Universe,

Reaching out to hold a friend’s hand and not worrying about what someone might think,

Dancing . . . when your feet can’t touch the ground . . .

Dancing . . . even when no one else can hear the music . . .

I find myself thinking I am the one with a “handicap” and need to learn to enjoy life more!
